As a consortium member of the project KitVes, funded by the EU within FP7, we perform investigations on airfoils for kites to improve performance. The measurements are done in the low speed wind tunnel of the Institute of Aerodynamics and Gas Dynamics.
Test our hot-wire system for one week without any obligations  The acoustic CTA is a full-featured hotwire anemometer bridge for flow velocity measurements in a range between 0 and 50m/s. It has been designd to work "out of the box" with our hotwire probes with no configuration effort at all.
Apart from a "standard" signal out (0-10V) it features a connector for headphones. "Hearing" aerodynamic instabilities gives the operator an efficient tool to find phenomena like shear layers, trip-points or detached flow areas.
