22.06.2009: The new "hand-held": acoustic CTA

The acoustic CTA is a full-featured hotwire anemometer bridge for flow velocity measurements in a range between 0 and 50m/s. It has been designd to work "out of the box" with our hotwire probes with no configuration effort at all.

Apart from a "standard" signal out (0-10V) it features a connector for headphones. "Hearing" aerodynamic instabilities gives the operator an efficient tool to find phenomena like shear layers, trip-points or detached flow areas.
